The "S/WS" (Sand Washer/Scrubber 20' long)
This unit is 20' long with a (three) phase motor drive unit. The S/WS 20 is an industry game changer. This unit is able to remove residual manure and bacterial from sand, allowing it to stack tall and dry quickly right out of the shoot. It is the only unit that requires the use of fresh water at a rate of 2.5 gpm to 5 gpm pending the volume of sand. The S/WS 20 represents the third tank in our 'Three Tank System'. It can be placed on the outlet end of any existing sand recovery system as a way to improve sand quality or as a standalone washer system for sand separation lanes.

This is our Sand Washer/Scrubber. It is a machine that washes and scrubs separated sand to remove the remaining manure residue that is left after a separation process. This unit is receiving manure from approximately 2,000 sand stalls from a dairy barn. It has a run time of 18-20 hours. It uses approximately 3 gpm of clean water to wash the sand. We are able to use recycled water on the back end of the system, in other words the separation end of the system. In some cases cutting water usage by 1/2 or more to get a cleaner end product than before.
In the video it is demonstrated how clean and fast the wash water drains away from the pile of sand.
